Yippee-Yay! Everything is finally moved. I have boxes all over my living room, I broke my computer, sprained my ankle, cut my hand, and bruised my knee – but I’m home!
BadJim and his almost-second-wife took the house and the mortgage payments, so that’s a huge load off, PLUS, now I probably won’t hear from him anymore. I think that the storm is finally over.
On a whim, I signed up for e-harmony – and I was immediately traumatized. I answered five million questions to find my perfect match in the whole world and was sent the profiles of five men. The first one on the list was from the town right next to mine. When I opened the page I saw a picture of my cousin Greg! Dammmmit. I closed the match right away, but the options listed under “reason for closing” didn’t include “I don’t live THAT close to Kentucky!”, so I chose “other”. My sisters said that it made sense, since he was always the strange one in his family too. Dammmmit.
The girls are back in school, the animals are getting used to the new place, and Laynie’s standing up by herself and learning new words. I think that’s everything. Oh… I had to kill two scary spiders. There… that’s everything.
