Long ago the world was torn with anguish. Everywhere pilgrims searched in confusion For an answer to the puzzle of their existence.
Humanity knew there was wholly one answer But they had long forgotten where it was buried; Forgetting, too, why they had hidden it Deep beneath the shadows, in the years of Us and Them.
Great moaning came from the earth. Communities beseeching the skies for answers. Each worshiping a unique image of the creator, As if to discover their communion with the One.
Fractions were painted with shadows And asked to wear those pigments with suspicion. Others were denounced for their erotic desires And made to endure the massive stigma of condemnation.
Far and wide, humanity suffered the inevitable, Destined to plead with the skies for protection, Searching in the clouds for absolution, Inventing guardians to save them from themselves.
Into this dark jungle came a long awaited little girl. Her purity unmatched... her innocence unspoiled. She was pure love wrapped in a little girl's life. She was born, as all new souls, knowing all.
She grew, day by day, surrounded with the openness of joy, living free. Free to laugh, free to taste, free to feel, free to touch. She missed not an instant, exploring each corner of love. Tasting kittens and cobwebs and berries, savoring each for its own.
On the day of forgetting, the day of the clouding mind, The day that divides us, the age that routes our pain... In that era, Little Girl Love was enthralled in music. Every cell in her body was swirling in rhythm, absorbing the sound.
In the twinkling of option, bathed with sentient love, Her intuitive choice warmed her soul and saved her spirit. Propelled high above the clouds of forgetting, she danced. And when the music stopped, Little Girl Love remembered the Truth.
Without language to share it and without guile to hide it, the truth shone. As she passed through town, the assemblage was altered forever. Her fervor and joy, curiosity and peace, were welcomed with affection And Little Girl Love continued, knowing that life's wisdom was hers.
She danced to the applause that affirmed her as the rhythm of life, Poured through her with a glow that radiated to the heavens, And rained down upon the world, to nourish her family in its entirety. From ocean to ocean a warm breeze swept as Little Girl Love grew to be.
Gods and goddesses as one shed tears of joy at her laughter. Ancestors rumbled reminders of promises made to be honored. Guardian angels sang assurances, promises. Silent whispers heard only with a mother's ear and open heart.
They have portioned the knowledge of Little Girl Love and of her purpose~ Of the joy she will spread and the love she will nourish. Can one little girl change the universe, you ask... And I answer... she already has.
