Isn't it funny how when you're looking for a pet you can't find the right one, but when you're not, the right one finds you?

This is Vince Lombardi. He's ten weeks old... can you believe how sweet that face is??

My sister brought him home but her American bulldog kept trying to bite his face, so we had to find him a new home. A friend from work wanted him, so I picked him up and took him to Jeff's house, but Jeff's wife protested. I thought for a minute about finding another home for him, but then I stopped looking at li'l Vince as another mouth to feed and saw another furry face to love, and dammmmmit... he just moved in. I love this little guy!

I must have been a little bit crabby for a few minutes at work yesterday afternoon. When I came in to my office this morning, the guys had left me a message. There were gummy face parts on my phone with a picture of Grandpa Munster, and this note/spell in my candy dish:

GRANDPA SPELL
"Eye of Newt Gingrich and ear of Lyle Lovett,
Help Kristin to rise above it.
Toss in Bob's nose, just for a sniff,
And soon she'll be laughing like a monkey on crystal meth.

KABOOM (lightning bolt)

You are now in a great mood!"

Browning they're not, but I just love these people. And, dang, the spell worked!

My daughter Jen's decided that the conspiracy theories in her mind are going to take over or get lost if she doesn't write them down, so she started her new blog tonight...
